Virgilio Rivera Serrano

Virgilio Serrano, age 95, passed away peacefully, his heart comforted by the music that filled his life. True to who he was, he was joking and smiling until he was called home to sing with the angels.

Born in Puerto Rico, Virgilio moved to the United States in the mid-1950s in pursuit of opportunity. Through hard work and determination, he built a life rooted in faith, family, and music. He dedicated 40 years of loyal service to Kasle Steel, providing faithfully for those he loved.

Virgilio had music in his soul. A proud mariachi at heart, he played the guitar, piano, accordion, and any other instrument he could find. filling every room with rhythm and joy. Whether at family gatherings or church events, he was truly the life of the party - warm, sweet, funny, and always ready with a joke. If there was music playing, he was smiling. If there was silence, he was probably about to fix that.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Maria Serrano, and a proud and loving father to Danny and Esther. He was Grandpa to many, and his grandchildren will forever remember his laughter, his songs, and the way he made everyone feel special. He also had a deep love for animals and treated them with the same kindness he showed everyone.

A faithful church member and a man of unwavering spirit, Virgilio lived fully, loved deeply, and left a melody in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be missed beyond words - but his music, his laughter, and his love will live on forever.
