Florence was born September 16, 1930, in Chesaning to the late Charles and Laura (Sutton) Sackrider and was a resident of Chesaning her entire life. She was united in marriage to Ace Phillips on July 5, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2016. Florence enjoyed walking, riding her bicycle, reading, doing word searches, and playing cards.
Surviving are: daughters: Sandra Gross, Janice (Kurt) Wille, Kathy (Phillip) Larner; grandchildren: Brian (Stephanie) Gross, Erin (David) Sincissen, Timothy Gross, Rob (Amy) Salazar, Daryl (Abby) Gross, David Gross (Krista Trzil), Bud (Heather) Salazar, Teresa (Doug) Laskowski, Andrew Larner, Brenda (Ryan) Slenzak, Brett (Katie) Larner, Wade (Wendy) Larner, Tara Wille; great-grandchildren: Taylor Gross, Ty Gross, Joshua Sincissen, Zachary Sincissen, Benjamin Sincissen, Hannah Sincissen, Nathaniel Sincissen, Abigail Sincissen, Lydia Sincissen, Sophia Gross, Kevin Laskowski, Blake Laskowski, Carissa Slenzak, Brad Slenzak, Aria Larner, Alecia Larner and Jersie Larner; other relatives and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by: a brother, Chuck Jr. and wife Doris Sackrider; and a son-in-law, Joseph Gross.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Contributions in her memory may be made to Amazing Grace Animal Rescue, 3365 Freeland Rd., Saginaw, MI 48604, or the River Rapids Library, 227 E. Broad St., Chesaning, MI 48616. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
