Florence Ona Slody, 53, of Springville passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem.
Born on September 6, 1972, in Pottstown, PA, she is the daughter of the late Billy and Maggie (Schwenk) Gurley.
She attended Pottstown High School. She had a deep love for watching her favorite television shows, particularly Steve Wilkos and Jerry Springer. Her passion for games was evident in her love for playing Bingo and engaging in the art of latch hook.
Above all, Florence's proudest accomplishments were rooted in her family. She took immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, always supporting them in their endeavors especially their sporting events.
She is survived by her son, Chad Slody; daughter, Heather Slody; grandchildren, Dakota, Eden, and Kennedy Slody; 5 siblings.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
