Florence A. Sparano (nee Dillahay) on April 30 2025 of Somerdale formerly of Runnemede. Age 89.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas C. "Sonny". Devoted mother of Thomas (Karen), Andrea DiMartinis (Nick) and the late Maria Cilurso. Loving grandmother of Danielle, Tommy (Giulianna), Lyndsay, Kaeley, Jeffrey, Brianna (Tom) and Alexis. Great grandmother of Ryan, Nico, Greyson, Ashton, Brooklyn and Tommy. Dear sister of Art (Monika), Steve (Kara) and the late Edward, Stan and Robert. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Florence began her career at the Audubon Hospital, where she met her best friend Patricia Marini. Patricia introduced Florence to her husband Sonny and that is how their love story began. Florence also enjoyed oil painting, baking and spending time with her family.
There will be a viewing from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 12:30 PM at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa Church, Runnemede. Entombment St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Chews Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org
