Mrs. Florence S. Trautmann

Florence S. Trautmann, 98, of Malone died Monday, May 13, 2024 at The Alice Center.
Born on June 6, 1925 in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of Herbert and Florence (Barton) Sova. They predeceased her.
Florence graduated from St. Joseph's Academy with the Class of 1942. She then attended A. Barton Hepburn Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1945 as a Registered Nurse. During her career, she was employed by Alice Hyde Hospital and was later an office nurse for Dr. R.G. Perkins for 5 years and for Dr. M. Marshall Kissane for 17 years.
She was united in marriage to Edgar E. Trautmann on August 21, 1949. He predeceased her on July 13, 2014.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Herbert, Donald, and Leon.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Kurt and Carol Trautmann of Malone, Stephen and Suzanne Trautmann of Cookeville, TN, Susan (widow of the late Donald) Provencher of Clifton Park, NY; five grandchildren, Eric (and Gabrielle) Trautmann of Raymond, WA; Kimberly (and James) Elbaor, and great-grandchildren Teddy and Ellsworth, of Chicago, IL; Kathryn (and David) Warburton, and great-grandchildren Elijah and Lucas, of Nashville, TN; Andrew Provencher of Ballston Spa, NY; Emily (and Michael) Gerlach, and great-grandchild Henry, and a second great-grandchild expected in June, of Rochester, NY.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
At Florence's request, there will be no calling hours or services.
