Florene was born on January 23, 1930 in Texas, the fifth of twelve children born to the union of Lar Henry, II and Marie Green. The family moved to Enid, OK in the early 30's where she attended Booker T. Washington School.
Florene was a happy, energetic and enthusiastic leader who was always at the forefront of trying to make her surroundings better. After falling for her soldier, Albert Best, they soon married in Enid, Oklahoma and relocated to St. Paul, MN in the late 1940s where their three children were born, Sonny, Carolyn and Jackie.
The family of Florene Best invites you to join us as we celebrate the life of our wonderful mother, grandmother and auntie.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on:
When: Saturday, October 4, 2025 Viewing, 11:00 am -12:00 pm, Service, 12:00pm
Where: Christ Temple Apostolic Church, Roseville, MN 55113
