Tribune
Floretta, R. Otstott, age 93, passed away at the Greeley County Long Term Care in Tribune, Kansas on Sunday, January 28, 2024, She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 30, 1930, to Archie and Mary Caverty Folsom. She had been a member of the Tribune community since she was 10 days old. She was a member of the Tribune Assembly of God congregation and served as a chaplain in the VFW. Her life was devoted to her family, friends, and community.
On October 16, 1946, Floretta married Marion Riley Otstott in Tribune, Kansas. He passed away on December 8, 1991.
Floretta is survived by her children Ginger & Roger Egbert of Marietta, Georgia, Kurtis & Susan Kern of Weston, Missouri, Mary Jo & Robin Loper of Overland Park, Kansas, twelve grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Floretta is preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister - Rosie Pearl Burchett, three brothers -Clarence, Sherman, and Robert Lee Folsom, and two daughters - Kathleen Swartz and Michele Kern.
Funeral Service will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God church at 220 West Lawrence St., Tribune, Kansas, 67879 with Reverend Justin Sherer presiding.
Interment will follow at the Greeley County Cemetery.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be written to Greeley County Long Term Care in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 161, Leoti, Kansas 67861.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 322 2nd St., Tribune, Kansas.
