Floria DiVito nee Pizzoferrato, born November 25, 1931, in Melrose Park, Illinois to Panfilo & Rachela Pizzoferrato, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Anthony "Tony" DiVito. Devoted mother of Celeste DiVito (Lonnie Brown), Rachel Thompson, Lola (Michael) Moore, Hector (Christine Capitan) DiVito, the late Anne Marie (Joe) Carney, Elizabeth (Martin) Frith and Antoinette (John) Urbik. Cherished grandmother of Charles, Jonathan, Christina (Paul) Landauer, David (Karen) Thompson, Devon, Dana (Bobby) Bobeck, Britni (Victor) DeLeon, Edie (Logan) Butler, Brenden, Samuel, Emma, Veronica, Anthony (Danielle) Urbik, Matthew, Elizabeth and Maria (Samuel) Ruegsegger. Great grandmother of Jacob, Sienna, Simon, Thomas ,Reed, Anthony Joseph "AJ", Andrew "Drew", Cecelia, Giorgi, Florence, Ada, Runi, Luca, Emma Clare, Ellie Jane, and Hosea Sinclair, Dear sister of the late Lola (the late Tony) Augustine, the late Adalgisa "Del" (Joseph) Digangi, the late Mario (the late Bertha) Pizzoferrato, the late Gilda (the late John) Brown, the late Aldo (Delores) Pizzoferrato, Giovanni Pizzoferrato and the late Eugene Pizzoferrato. Sister-in-law to the late Ceila (the late Peter) Cairo, the late Emily (the late Guido) Melone, the late Fr. John C.S. and the late Ettore (Lydia) DiVito. Loving Auntie, Great and Great Great Auntie to many. Funeral Tuesday July 1,2025. Family and friends are asked to meet at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 1101 N. 23rd Ave. Melrose Park. Visitation 10:00A.M. until time of Mass 11:00A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
