Florine Moize

Graham – Florine Williams Moize, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born in Columbus, GA on February 1, 1937 to the late William Melford “Bill” and Gladys Irene Wheelis Williams and was the wife of the late Richard Bennett “R.B.” Moize.

Florine was a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and was employed for over 16 years with the US Postal Service.  She was a gifted singer and musician, specifically with stringed instruments such as the guitar, harp, piano, ukelele and the banjo.  Florine was expert at shooting pistols and won many trophies throughout her lifetime.  Most of all, she was a sweet, kind and generous individual who exhibited compassion and love to her family, friends and neighbors. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her brothers, Johnny (Bernice), Lonnie, Danny, Paul, Kenny Wayne and William Williams and sisters, Darlene Butts.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; sisters, Sylvia Railey, Donna Baranik; brothers, Clinton Russell, Rolland Russell and Richard Williams and step mother, Roberta Keith.
