Floy Marie Johnson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Floy Johnson on December 30, 2025. Born on April 28,1944, Floy was a beacon of joy, light, and love. Growing up in Beechmont, she graduated from Revere Highschool in 1962. She went on to college and received an associate's degree in business. Over the last 47 years she has resided in Saugus, Massachusetts with her family. Her spunk, and sass made her a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her. She was a woman of many passions, among them traveling, socializing with friends, and her 2 day a week times out to the Hammersmith Restaurant. But what mattered most to Floy was the precious time she spent with her adored grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Floy was a devoted wife to her husband, Steven, for 53 years. She was the adored mother of Tammy Johnson, the late Steven Johnson, Clint Johnson with wife Jessie, and Marie Bridges with husband Eric. Floy was also a beloved sister to Phyllis Andreottola and her husband Frank, and Camille Donnelly, and her late husband James. Her grandchildren, Stephen Lu, the late Patrick Lu, Brandi McCartt, David Johnson, Angelina Johnson, Eric Bridges, Marissa Bridges, Haley Johnson, and Olivia Bridges will miss their grandmother’s infectious laughter and boundless love. Floy was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Floy will be held on Friday January 2, 2026, at Buonfiglio Funeral Home 128 Revere Street, Revere from 4:00-8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Saint Anthony's Church 250 Revere Street, Revere at 10AM. Followed by Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden.

Floy’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, resilience, and joy, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her story continues in each of us, in the memories we hold dear and the love we share. We invite you to celebrate Floy’s life by sharing your memories, stories, and photos on her memorial page.
