Floy Maurine Kemp
"Granny"
Maurine Kemp passed away March 2, 2023, with loved ones surrounding her. Maurine was born January 11, 1929, in Bosqueville, TX, to John and Ethel Ivy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; and her children, Melissa, Johnny, Melvin, Kenneth and Marvin Kemp; several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Jenkins, Judy (Ronald) Graham, Mark (Melanie) Kemp and David Kemp; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She loved family first, she enjoyed bingo, cards, casino and supporting her grands sporting events. Special thanks to her granddaughter, caregiver, and best friend Tanya Murnahan. Memorial services are at Bible Way Church Waco TX 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 7. Meal to follow the service.

I am so sorry. Granny was absolutely the best! I remember playing cards with her and we had such a good time. I have a lot of great memories of her and she will truly be missed. Sending my love and condolences to the Kemp family. Rest easy, Granny. Til we meet again
