Robert Kemp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Kansas & Missouri - Lee's Summit on Mar. 19, 2026.
Robert Eugene Kemp, Jr., 49, of Lees Summit, Missouri, passed away on March 17, 2026, in Holden, Missouri.

Robert was born on May 8, 1976, to Robert Sr. and Patricia Kemp. He graduated from Lee's Summit High School and went on to earn an associate degree in HVAC from Vatterott College.

Robert had a deep love for cars and motorcycles, and he recently rekindled his passion for skateboarding. He had a special place in his heart for animals and always surrounded himself with them. He also proudly embraced his Italian heritage-teaching himself the language, singing Italian songs, and finding joy in the culture. One of the most meaningful experiences of his life was traveling to Italy, a place that held a special piece of his heart. Above all, Robert was a man of God, and his faith was an important part of his life.

Robert is survived by his wife, Amy; his stepdaughter, Halle; his father, Robert Sr.; and his siblings, Lisa, Tammy, Buddy, and Greg. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Kemp; his grandmother, Jean Kasson; and his stepmother, Phyllis Kemp.

A celebration of life will be held at Church on the Rock Outreach Center in Lees Summit, Missouri, on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

In honoring Robert's love for his heritage and his faith, we remember the joy he found in music, language, and culture-la sua vita era piena di amore (his life was full of love). He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
