Floyd Bilbrey Obituary
Floyd passed away at home on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was born at home in Overton County, Tennessee on October 20, 1937, to the late Johnie & Reba Deck Bilbrey. He was a 1957 Graduate of Livingston Academy and served his country with the 82nd Airborne. He worked as a mechanic, manager of Plateau Ready Mix, manager of the Crossville Ford Tire & Alignment shop and then facility maintenance at Crossville Ford until his retirement. His skill as an innovative fabricator and problem solver touched many in the community.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Nella Rae, children Darrell Bilbrey (Jodie) of Hoover, AL, Gina Langley (Michael) of Knoxville, TN and David Bilbrey (Melanie) of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren Alexis Bilbrey (Zach Hamrick) of Columbiana, AL, Haley Langley and Emily Langley of Knoxville TN, Brandon and Brooke Bilbrey of Knoxville TN and great granddaughters Murphie and Charlie Hamrick of Columbiana, AL. He is also survived by sisters, Juanita Kirksey(David) of Madisonville, TN, Nina Oakley of Monroe, TN, and Irene Neal of Englewood, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Bilbrey, Clauis Bilbrey, Jerry Bilbrey, and Clifford Bilbrey; infant sister, Mildred Marie Bilbrey, sister Lucille Wright.
Pallbearers: Darrell Bilbrey, David Bilbrey, Michael Langley, Brandon Bilbrey, Glenn Kirksey and Andy Turner.
Honorary pallbearers: Gina Langley, Jodie Bilbrey, Melanie Bilbrey, Alexis Bilbrey, Haley Langley, Emily Langley and Brooke Bilbrey
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Floyd's memory.

Terry & I enjoyed the years we got to spend time with your family! So sorry that I didn´t feel safe being outside at the funeral! The last time I was at my cousins grave side funeral, I got phenomena! My Love & Prayers are with you & family!
