What can one possibly write to truly express what a unique man Mr.Hayward was...I have many fond childhood memories of him, one that sticks out so vividly is "classic Bud"- We were driving in the car-his most hated thing to do when he was on his day off-and we approached a red light and when the light turned green, Mr.Hayward would shout to the car in front of us "hey buddy, the light's not get any greener!!" That was so "him". His dry sense of humor was unmatched by any I have ever met! He was such a cool guy...a man's man if you will. My mom always told me growing up, "ya know, in his younger day he looked just like Clark Gable"...now that I am older- he sure as heck did!! He will be sadly missed. I am so glad he is peacefully joined again with Skippy!! My heartfelt sympathy extends to all of his family!
love,
Kim
