Floyd Allen Langley

Floyd Allen Langley, 83, of Clever, Missouri passed away on March 28th, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on May 17, 1939, in Perry, Oklahoma to John and Betsy (Shook) Langley. On March 2, 1959, he married Unie Letts in Bolivar, Missouri. They were married 61 years.
Floyd served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962. He was 18 years old. Throughout his life he farmed, drove a feed truck, operated a dozer, and milked. He enjoyed square dancing, deer hunting, trail riding, riding his motorcycle, and going to church on Sundays. Most of all he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Floyd is preceded in death by his wife Unie, his parents, 6 brothers, one sister, and two great grandsons, Chandler Hancock and Grant Chambers.
He is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Langley, Peggy (Donnie) Wolfe, sons, Teddy (Rhonda) Langley, Jimmy (Mitzi) Langley, 8 grandchildren, Tonya Wolfe, Micki Turner, Michelle Hunley, David Langley, Whitney Langley, Nathan Langley, LaTasha Todd and Daniel Langley, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandsons.
A Visitation will be held on March 30, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Meadors Funeral Home in Clever, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Floyd will be laid to rest next to his wife Unie, in Short Cemetery in Hurley, Missouri.
