Floyd lived down the hall from me. He was always helping somebody in the building. Bringing packages left in the mail room to our doors and so on.Will miss him!!. My condolences to his family.

Floyd John Stanga, 69, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Floyd was born on November 7, 1956, in his beloved hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Floyd Stanga, Jr., and Beverly Lindner.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Please check back shortly for more details.
Floyd spent the majority of his life in Sioux Falls, and lived for a period in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he worked as an auto detailer. He was known to his friends and acquaintances by his nickname “Cowboy.” Floyd was a rabid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. He enjoyed reading books, fishing, riding his bike and helping his neighbors in his apartment building.
Floyd is survived by his son Travis (Audrey) Stanga and grandson Jack Stanga, of Sioux Falls; sister Marsha Kelly, of Sioux Falls; Uncle Chuck (Cindy) Stanga, of Sioux Falls; and Aunt Pam Myrmoe, of Renner, SD; step-siblings, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Floyd’s family to assist with funeral expenses. Memorials may be sent in care of the funeral home.
