Floyd Thacker Jr., age 69 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 26, 1955 in Barren County, KY to the late Floyd Thacker Sr. and Virgie Huff Norris. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Union Church and a former employee of Bob Evans. He loved fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Keith Thacker, James McClusky, and Alfred Hill, and three sisters Barbara Shaw, Joan Long, and Patty Bow.

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Deborah Thacker of Burkesville, KY
One Daughter- Amy J. Stilts(Jackie) of Burkesville, KY
Three Sons- Floyd H.Thacker(Susie), Kevin Y. Thacker(Courtney B.) and
Daniel J. Blakley all of Burkesville, KY
Five Brothers- Garon Norris(Elsie) of Edmonton, KY Timmy Norris(Melody) of Sebring, FL Charles Wheeler(Judy) of Burkesville, KY Elvis Thacker(Tammy) of Burkesville, KY and Roger Thacker of Crawfordsville, IN
Two Sisters- Gail Waid(Benny) of Burkesville, KY and Martha Jo Ruffner of Crawfordsville, IN
Eight Grandchildren- Courtney N. Thacker, Chelsey Angel, Katie Thacker, Anna Mae Thacker, Finnley Garrett, Keegan Blakley, Holten Stilts, Karynda Stilts
Eight Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:
Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, August 24th from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and on Monday from 6 A.M. till time for the service at 11 A. M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
