She was born again into the heavenly kingdom Saturday, July 23rd, 1960, due to the election of the Father, the atonement of the Son and the quickening of the Holy Spirit.
Fonda Gail Hawks, 78, of Smiths Grove, (formerly Finney, KY) Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green surrounded by family. She was born August 10, 1946, to the late W.P. Hawks and the late Ella Jewell (Patterson) Hawks. She was a teacher for Barren County School System until she retired.
Fonda is survived by her sister, Sharon Hawks Smith (Dennis); nephews, Jason Smith (Melissa), Justin Smith (Jani); great niece and nephew; Khloe Smith, and Atticus Smith Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half brother, Donald Hawks.
The funeral service for Ms. Hawks will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 9:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
