James Dale Hawks “Jim” died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
He was born in Bristol Tennessee on August 26, 1959. He was a professional painter and loved to build things and paint them to make them pretty.
He is survived by Susan Caulder, his faithful partner of 15 years.
He also is survived by two stepchildren, Patricia Keever and Teddy Rae Wilson. He also has a sister, Mattie Lungsford, a brother Eddie, a niece Loretta and special friends Amy Brown, Clayton Brown, Ashley Nobles, David Cothran and Kathy Southern.
He also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren.
