I was so sad to hear of Fonda's passing. We has just recently caught up and planned a visit. But schedules pre-empted that time. I met Fonda in college. We became fast friends and have remained distantly close since those days. I will remember Fonda for her love, her passion, her compassion and her faith. I will also remember her high heals, beautiful blonde hair and perfectly manicured nails. And the first female truck driver I ever met. She was a fireball of faith and smiles for everyone she met. Fonda showed up for me at critical times of my life including a surprise appearance at our son's funeral. I grieve for her family but I am thankful for her love of them and her faith. God bless you all in this time of celebration of life a grief for this season.

I am so sorry to read of Fonda´s passing. I remember her vividly from our days working together at Louisburg College. She had a servant´s heart and a quiet presence and worked tirelessly for the benefit of others. Deepest sympathy to her family.

Fonda will be so missed by my family and I. Over this past year I started working for Fonda. She had me doing everything in the book, but you want to know something? I did not mind it one bit. She was extremely welcoming as soon and we met and took me under her wing, She was such an inspiration to me and she has taught me so many valuable skills and lessons. Not only did I work for her we would also just sit down and chat about our lives and how they are progressing. I loved everything about Fonda, she was almost more of a friend then my "boss". I will never forget her because she has made the greatest impact on my life. I went over to work for her on July 9th and she was telling me about all of her future plans. She had so much future and life ahead of her I hate that she had to leave so soon and I still do not understand why it was this soon, she truly was an angel and would help anyone who needed it. I aspire to be like Fonda was to me. She will be so deeply missed and I am so glad that I got to share some words with her on the 9th.

I Will always keep the memories of her caring for others. She loved everyone. Once you became friends with Fonda, she never let you go.
