Forrest Anderson

Forrest “Alex” Anderson, 26, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2017. He leaves behind his loving parents, Nancy and Thomas Anderson and his loving brother and friend, Christopher Anderson and many other loving family members. Forrest was living out his dream of working in law enforcement and was an active duty Chesterfield County Sheriff Deputy. He was a low-key guy and was known for always having a smile on his face. Forrest loved watching sports and was an avid Duke University fan. He enjoyed listening to country music and driving around in his lifted truck. He was an all around likable person and he will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). A service in celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the James River High School, 3700 James River Rd., Midlothian, VA 23113. In lieu of flowers the family would love for you to make a donation to the Chesterfield County Police Foundation, Inc., P. O. Box 1684, Chesterfield, VA 23832 in honor of Forrest. His family would like to thank everyone for their support and love in this very difficult time. The kindness that everyone has shown and continues to show is greatly appreciated and does not go unnoticed.
