Grandpa, I sure miss you a lot. I remember every memory we spent together.
One of my most vivid memories was when I was four and you, Dad and I would go to the Nemah River (or under the bridge as I knew it) and catch dogs bigger than me.
I can't even fathom how many pieces of wood we split together or pieces of scrap taken apart.
I don't regret moving to Missouri be with my amazing Wife but I do regret not coming back once in a while to see you more. I wish I could have been in that hospital room holding your hand as you passed to be with Jesus.
You'll always be my fishing buddy, my hunting buddy, chopping wood buddy, scrapping buddy but most of all, my Loving Grandpa.
Hopefully I'll see you again one day and we can relive all those memories over again.

It was a sad day when we learned of the death of our dear friend Foe Bottemiller. We have know him and his family for about 25 years and we found he was a committed Christian and dedicated to proclaim the Gospel to anyone that would take the time to listen. He was ready to take Missionary trips that were challenging for a man of his age.
He also was a avid sportsman that loved to fish and hunt and even took me fishing many times. We will miss our dear friend and pray for the loved ones that now deal with the loss of their husband, father, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and a host of friends. Our Love Don & Grace

The few times I was able to visit with Grandpa were so special. I immediately fell in love with him the first time we met. I wish I could've spent more time talking with him, learning how to fish, and learning more about him. Guess I'll have to wait until heaven! Love you Grandpa!

Forrest Bottemiller is the best fisherman I have ever seen, and I doubt there will ever be a better one.
I first met Foe as a child tagging along with my father, he always made it a point to talk to me, as a kid it meant a lot. There is not the time nor space here to even scratch the surface of his abilities with a rod and reel or as a human being. Though I seldom saw him in later years, he never failed to recognize me and greet me warmly. I am at a loss here, God bless and keep you Foe.
