Forrest Allen Chodrick

Forrest Allen Chodrick, 67, of Wappapello, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 08, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Forrest was born on April 6, 1956, to Ressie "Russ" and Anna (Wright) Chodrick in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He married the love of his life and best friend, Teresa Howton on June 7, 2002, in Corning, Arkansas.
Forrest's proudest title was Papa and his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially the grandkids. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He liked tinkering around in his shop and messing with his RC cars. Forrest collected vintage auto mechanic items, such as gas and oil cans as well as old signs. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and owner of Chodrick's Mechanic Service for over fifteen years. Forrest was a Christian and believer of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Forrest is survived by his wife, Teresa Chodrick; two daughters, Danielle (James Lynn) Chodrick and Tiffany (JP Hays) Schuster; two sons, Michael (Timara) Howton and Joshua (Denisha Byrd) Chodrick; nine grandchildren, Xavier, Anna Belle, Penelope, Bailee, Mika, Mikah, Matthew, Hope, and Logan.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Jones; two daughters, Gina and Sherry Chodrick.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 11:00-Noon at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at Noon with Reverend Dustin Williams officiating. Burial will take place in Enid, Oklahoma where he will be laid to rest next to his father.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
