Mr. Forrest Dixon from Griffin, age 49, passed away April 23, 2025. He was born in Atlanta to his parents Michael and Sheila. Mr. Dixon was a proud father, and devoted provider. He lived his life with integrity, honesty, and a deep love for his family and friends. Even after a life-changing accident 11 years ago left him handicapped, he remained all of the things he had always been. A caring father, a dependable friend, and a man of principle. He enjoyed reading good books, and he had a true appreciation for well-written literature of all kinds. He also loved playing video games, especially his PlayStation. His favorite game was the classic adventure game Zelda. One of his natural gifts was his sharp aim - he was an excellent marksman, especially when dove hunting, a pastime he thoroughly enjoyed. His shooting accuracy wasn't just a skill, it came effortlessly to him.
Along with his father Michael, Mr. Dixon is also preceded in death by his uncle: Randy Copeland.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Dixon; mother: Sheila Rappold; sister: April Elliott (Chris); brothers: Nicholas Dixon and Justin Dixon; son: Randall Kyle Dixon (Alissa); granddaughters: McKenna Gray Dixon and Jackie Dixon; best friends from childhood: Tyrone Smith and Jennifer Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Forrest's life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 2:30 p.m., at 1269 Short Cut Road, Molena, GA 30258.
