Forrest Hanson Dreher, age 29, of Birmingham, AL died March 26, 2026 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. Memorial services will be 5:00 pm Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Grace Community Church (Deerfoot Pkwy) with Pastor Thad Blount officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Union Chapel Cemetery in Carrollton with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at Union Chapel Community Center.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin F. Elmore, Jr., Mary Ann Lee Elmore, Robert E. Dreher, Sr. and Elizabeth Robbins Dreher.
Survivors include his father, Thomas E. Dreher; mother, Julia Corn and husband, Tim; wife, Madeline Dreher; daughters, Taytum Elise Dreher and Kennedy Blake Dreher; brother, Scottie Dreher (Gabby); sister, Anna Grace Dreher Pacheco (Mario); uncles, Benjamin F. "Benji" Elmore III (Karen) and Rob Dreher, Jr. (Carolyn) and aunts, Ellen Elmore Murphy (Lawrence J. "Chip") and Donna Dreher Allain (Mike).
Forrest was born January 30, 1997 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a mechanical engineer at Metalplate in Birmingham.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Crane, Austin McKerley, Dylan McKee, Sam Goode, Bryant Elmore and Will Elmore.
