Just learned of Forrest´s passing. I was a law clerk at Roan & Gullahorn from 1979-1981. Every day I would finish my law school classes and go to work with Forrest and get my real legal education.

Saddened to learn of Fortest's Passing. A fine man and long-time friend. We were DeMolays together, crossed paths at the First United Methodists Church, and in latter years worked the Legislature together. My condolences to his family.

I am saddened to learn of Forrest's passing. I was privileged to know Forrest when we were both young men and I crossed paths with him from time to time throughout our careers. He was a fine and gifted man, and I was honored to count him as a friend. God Bless his family.

I was so sorry to get a call about Forrest on Monday. My late husband had known him since DeMolay days, and we spent many fun times with him while we lived in Austin. I am so glad we were able to have dinner with him last fall when we were in town for a football game. He loved catching us up on his girls and their families and was so proud of you all. My heart goes out to all of you. You are in my prayers.

I was shocked to see Forrest's obituary today. We met when we were both in DeMolays during our high school days and we saw each other time and again during the years that followed. Forrest has been such a force for good in Austin and I know he was a devoted father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed. My condolences go to his family.
