Fortice "Lee" Workman, Jr. was born 12/11/1950 in Richmond, Virginia and passed from this earthly life 2/24/2026.

Lee was a 1970 Graduate of Red Bank High School. Upon graduation from high school he joined the USAF and was honorably discharged in 1974. With assistance of the GI Bill he went to college straight through fall, Spring and Summer semesters and in 1977 graduated with a BS in business. After graduation he went to work for Volunteer Life. He later accepted a job with TVA, where he stayed until he retired. After retirement he taught for ITT for 2 years.

Lee was an avid reader of science, technology and military strategy books. He encouraged others to read especially his Grandchildren for whom he purchased numerous books. He enjoyed working the cryptograms that were printed in the Newspaper. The crypt a quotes and scramlets weren't enough of a challenge. He was always easy going. He didn't like to argue but when he did his arguments were full of facts and logic and you always walked away defeated. He liked the honest truth no matter how brutal it was. He was, like our mother a "yellow dog democrat."

He was preceded in death by his parents F. L. "Sarge" Workman and Gladys J. Workman. His wife of 16 years Constance C. Workman. He is survived by a stepson Dustin Coulter and a step daughter Tabitha C. Hartung (Ryan). Two Step Grand Children Kingston Coulter and Landon Coulter. His Brother Jack G. Workman, a nephew Nicholas "Nick" Workman (Katie), a Grand Niece Zoey, and two Grand Nephews Nolan and Levi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
