Frances Aranda

Frances Aranda, 72, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. She was born on June 1, 1953, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Dolly and Frank Sanchez.

Frances spent part of her career working as a typist and later in life devoted herself to caring for others as a caregiver.

She was known for her outgoing personality, her love of people, and her warm and welcoming spirit.

She had a deep love for music and enjoyed listening to oldies, Motown, Christian music, and especially her beloved Mexican music.

Frances found joy in spending time with family and friends and will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, and the love she shared with those around her.

She is survived by her sons, Adan Aranda III and Anthony Aranda Sr.; her grandchildren, Adan Aranda VI, Anthony Aranda Jr., and Jovi Flores; and three great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers, Frank Sanchez (Margaret), Fred Sanchez (Cathy), and Scott Sanchez (Vicky); her sisters, Sandy Florez and Sonya Sanchez; along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Dolly Sanchez and Frank Sanchez, and her brother, Steve Sanchez.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Sanchez residence, 8911 W. Griswold Rd., Peoria, Arizona.

Frances will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
