ALBANY - Frances Condor, 96, passed away peacefully, on April 19, 2025.
Born on November 6, 1928, to Frank Trapasso and Mary Lostritto, Frances was raised in Albany by Italian immigrant parents. Frances was married to the love of her life, Anthony F. Condor Sr., for 44 years, before his passing. In addition to her husband, Frances was predeceased by her sons, Frankie and Steven Condor; and her brothers, Angelo and Joseph Trapasso.
She is lovingly remembered and survived by her sons, Mark Condor Sr. and his wife, Maureen, and Anthony Condor Jr. and his wife, Joy; as well as, her sister, Antoinette Hofelich. Frances was the proud grandmother of Mark Condor Jr. (Sarah), Michael Condor (Cara Compani), Anthony Condor III (Jackie) and Nichole Segura (Justin). Frances was great-grandmother to Brody, Lola, Zoey, Ellie and Lorenzo. Her great-granddaughter, Amity, who passed before Fran, now sits on great-grandma Fran's lap in Heaven, watching over their family.
Love. Family. Devoted. These are the words that describe Frances. She was the heart of her family. She was Italian through and through, and everyone around her knew it, especially on Christmas Eve, when she made Italian feasts that brought everyone together. Her devotion to family was her defining trait, and she showed it in every way: cheering on her grandchildren at baseball games (often found in the bleachers yelling at the umpires), riding the Minne-Ha-Ha on Lake George, or simply lighting up a room with her laugh. She will be remembered for that laugh and her love- when all is said and done, what else really matters?
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who loved and supported Frances throughout her life. A special thank you to Mary Ann and Fred Beaulieu for many fun casino trips with Fran, and to Teresian House staff for the exceptional care and love they gave her.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning, at 10:00 a.m., at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Street, Albany.
