FRANCES L. "FRAN" DEADY

DEADY, Frances L. "Fran" (Muse) Of Medford, February 23, 2026. She was 81 years old. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Deady, Jr. Devoted mother of Thomas J. "Chip" Deady, III of Woburn and Sean Deady and his wife, Jennifer of Billerica. Adored grandmother of Bridget Deady, Thomas Deady, IV, Natalie Deady, Brenden Deady and Aiden Deady. Dear sister of Judy Stevens of Billerica. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Lois and Lorraine Rostanzo. Frances served the City of Medford Police Dept., with distinction, for over 50 years in multiple roles, including Police Matron, Traffic Supervisor, Head Clerk and in computer operations. She achieved an expert marksmanship certification in her high school rifle club. A feat she was very proud of. Frances will always be known for having a great sense of humor. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother, enjoyed the company of her cherished dogs and helping others. Visiting Hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, MA, on Friday, February 27, from 4-7PM and again on Saturday, February 28, from 10AM-12PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Funeral Services will be private.
