Frances DeSimone Obituary
Frances Teresa DeSimone, 96, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at her residence.
Born April 15, 1926, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia until moving to Florida in December of 2019. She was a banker and worked for Aetna Federal Savings and Loan until her retirement. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church in Philadelphia and attended Central Church of Christ in Winter Haven with her family.
Loving Aunt of Gianna DeSimone (Gerald Cerdan), Tim (Krystal) DeSimone, and Robert DeSimone; Dear Great Aunt of Nicolas, Gerald Jr., Grant, Griffin, Giuliana, Vada Grace, and Rocco; Sister of the late Frank (Lucy), the late Armand (Louise), and the late Daniel DeSimone.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday, October 28, 2022, in Stella Maris Catholic Church in Philadelphia, PA. Frances will be buried at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery following the Mass. Her brother, Frank DeSimone also passed away seven weeks prior and they will be buried together at the same ceremony.
A local Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm, Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at the Central Church of Christ in Winter Haven.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in her name to the Winter Haven Central Church of Christ Youth Group or a charity of your choice.
