Frances C. DiFilippo

Frances C. DiFilippo, 85, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at St. Anne Home and Retirement Community in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Frances was a devoted homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She shared her time and talents with the Chancery Office before marrying in 1948 and the Chamber of Commerce. Frances was a member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and enjoyed crochet, baking, gardening, puzzles and crafts. Surviving are her sons, John E.(Karla) DiFilippo, Joseph V.(Connie) DiFilippo and Donald A. (Cheryl) DiFilippo; daughters, Virginia M. DiFilippo, Connie M. DiFilippo, Margaret M. Diehl, Rita M. (Clint) Lightner and Mary R. (Robert) Bloom all of Fort Wayne, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren . Frances was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Catherine Minick, husband, Donald DiFilippo and brother Calvin Minick. Mass of Christian Burial is Wed, 10:30 am, October 10, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Fr. Jacob Meyer officiating. Calling at D. O.
