Frances Eppich, 77, of Mentor, a devoted mother, grandmother, cherished friend and beloved member of the community, passed away Sept. 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Frances was born on Nov. 18, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was known for her warmth and kind heart.
Frances retired from the Cleveland Clinic in 2009, after 30 years of service. Throughout her life, Frances dedicated herself to her family. She was a source of strength and inspiration, always putting her loved ones first. She had a passion for polkas, food, her plants, animals, yardwork and puzzles. Visiting with her friends and family brought joy to those around her. She cherished every moment with her grandson, Daniel.
Frances is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Daniel; her daughters, Cheryl (James) Wilson and Tracey (Edward) Gryzmala; her beloved grandson, Daniel; and sister-in-law, Janice Drasler.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Zora Drasler; and her brother, Donald Drasler.
Funeral Mass for Frances will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake, with family receiving friends 30 minutes before start of Mass.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations if Frances' name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.

I have never met anyone as dedicated to her family and friends. After moving to Ohio and meeting Danny at work, Fran took me in as though I was family. I will continue to think of Fran each day. I´m here for you, whatever you may need.
