"Together Again"
Herman 'Bud' Eppich, a lifelong resident of the Greater Cleveland area, passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of entrepreneurial spirit, unwavering devotion to his family and faith and his deep appreciation for tradition and cultural heritage. Bud, as he was known to all, was a man who embraced life to the fullest, touching the lives of many with his warm personality and engaging spirit.
Bud was a devoted husband to the late Rose Marie, his beloved wife of 56 years, and friend and confidant to his late brother Bill (Lori). Loving father to Maureen, Kathleen, Eileen, William (Jamie), and Christine (Jeff). The love he shared with his children extended to his grandchildren, Shelbie, Kelsie, Lysia, and Bryanna, and his great-grandchild, Liah. Furthermore, he was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, extending his familial love and influence beyond his immediate family.
He was an avid fisherman and never shied away from a game or activity that he could enjoy with friends or family – pinochle, bowling or Cleveland sports. He loved being an active member of the Eastside Irish American Club and Slovenian National Home.
He will be leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and community spirit. His memory will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who knew him. The family will receive friends and family from 4 to 8pm on Monday, April 21st at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral home 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Metroparks' Catch and Release Fishing program can be made to Lake Metroparks in Memory of Herman 'Bud' Eppich.
Funeral Mass will be held 10am Tuesday, April 22 at Ss. Robert and William Church 367 E. 260th St. Euclid.
