Judith A. Vild

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judith A. Vild, age 80, on January 30, 2026. Born on March 28, 1945, Judith was a devoted mother, and beloved friend to many. A resident of Willoughby, Ohio, she touched the lives of those around her with her warm spirit and compassionate heart.

Judith dedicated her professional life to caring for others, serving as a bartender and caregiver, where she became known for her kindness and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her warmth and hospitality left lasting impressions on many who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Judith is survived by her sons, Ron (Kristy), Rick (Diana), Michael (Danielle), Steven, Tony (Shelly), and Matt (Dawn); and her sister Donna Riker.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, James G. Vild; her parents Leonard and Helen Kappel; and her brother Al Vild.

Judith was blessed with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is remembered for her unwavering support and love for her family, which served as the foundation of her life.

Family will receive friends to celebrate Judith's life and legacy, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, at Monreal Srnick Funerals and Cremations 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, Ohio 44095.
