Adrienne Adell Gilbert

Adrienne Adell Gilbert, age 91, passed away on January 31, 2026. She was born on March 30, 1934 in Dunlo, PA to the late Elmer and Susan Jones. Adrienne was a remarkable woman whose life touched countless lives. She lived in Euclid for almost 68 years of her life, where she created a loving home and a warm community. Adrienne dedicated over 50 years of her life to teaching religion at East Shore Methodist Church in Euclid, where she inspired generations of children and families. In her professional career, she started as a dental assistant, and later in life, after taking care of her family, became the office manager for a dental oral surgeon office, where her compassion for patients showed through. Outside of her career, Adrienne was an active member of a diabetes support group in Euclid, helping others navigate their health challenges as well as getting assistance with her own Her family was her most cherished treasure, and her love for them was immeasurable. Adrienne was a cornerstone of her family. She reveled in the joy of her grandchildren, finding happiness in every moment she got to spend with them. Adrienne will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Adrienne was the beloved mother of Bill Gilbert (Karen), Robert Gilbert (Laura), and Janice Lemieux; a proud grandmother of Lindsey Zeleny (Vic), Lauren Ritzert (Jen), Lucas Lemieux (Madelynn), Rebecca Morris (Joey), and James Hess; and a caring great grandmother of Henry, Malaya, and Amir Ritzert, and Benjamin and Morgan Morris. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years Marvin Gilbert, and her siblings Robert Jones, Joann Lingenfelter, and Mary Lou Posch. Family will receive friends from 10:00am - 12:00pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, Ohio 44095. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Whitehaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
