Jacquelyn Dickerson Obituary
She was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Cleveland.
She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Willowick, where she found joy and fellowship through the Ladies Bible Study and the Seniors Club. Jacquelyn was also actively involved at both the Willoughby and Willoughby Hills Senior Centers. She enjoyed reading, gardening, decorating, and working on puzzles, and she especially loved taking road trips and exploring new places.
Jacquelyn was the dear mother of Janice E. (John, dec.) Caton and Diane L. (Richard, dec.) Nelson; cherished grandmother of Joshua (Jennifer) McCloud, Jason (Lauren) McCloud and Melissa (Raymond) Mencer; great-grandmother of Cameron, Naomi, Siena, Jasmine, Sebastian and Meira; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John H. Dickerson; daughter, Sandra K. Dickerson; grandson, Nicholas Nelson; parents, Eldo and Mary (nee Westover) Spong; and siblings, June (James) Baraze and Eldo (Patricia) Spong.
Private family services were held, with burial at Whitehaven Cemetery in Mayfield.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
