Frances M. Ferrara

1930 - 2025

Evans, GA – With deep sadness and loss, the family of Frances M. Ferrara, age 95, announces her passing and homecoming on October 9th, 2025, in Evans, GA. She was married to the love of her life, the late Anthony J. Ferrara Jr. for 71 years before he passed in 2021. She lived the last 18 months at Thrive Assisted Living, Martinez GA, her new "home" amongst many old and new friends, and a Care Team she loved.

Frances was born in Brooklyn. NY. She was a loving, caring and giving Italian Mom and Grandma with a very outgoing personality who loved watching old movies, traveling with Tony, and making new friends. She was quick to offer food, coffee, cake or chocolate mints whenever one came to visit.

She worked as a hairdresser and then as a bank representative at First National Bank in Brooklyn NY. She and Tony moved to Evans GA in 1995. She was a member of Senior Friends at Doctors Hospital and loved volunteering, organizing bingo and beading. Frances also enjoyed working as a greeter at Walmart in Evans.

Surviving family includes one daughter, Theresa (Jim); two sons, Bobby (Joanne) and Gary (Kathy), and her sister Angela LoBianco of Kingston NY. She has 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will hold chapel services and interment on October 25, 2025, at 10:00 am at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA.
