Frances "Fran" Wright

Frances Irene Wright of Suwanee, GA was born September 22, 1952 in Memphis, TN and passed peacefully September 8, 2024 with her family by her side. Fran is preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 53 years, James “Jimmy” Lamar Wright Sr., daughter Julie Anna Wright, and parents Albert Martin and Mary Moulton. She married the love of her life November 8, 1971 and they created a beautiful life together. She attended beauty school but was most passionate about caring for her family. She stayed home to raise their four children, even substituting as a teacher to be close to them. She was also very involved in her grandchildren’s lives, never missing an opportunity to brag about them or show them of. She was a talented cake decorator, seamstress and artist, never failing to impress her family with handmade dresses, outfits, birthday cakes and beautiful drawings they will now cherish as pieces of her. Fran loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. She was a Godly woman who knew Jesus and cherished her church & church family at Brookwood Baptist Church where she has been a member for 37 years. She was a lover of all things Elvis and would never leave the house without looking her best from her hair to her trendy nails. Her surviving family left to carry on her memory include daughter, Angela Wright of Flowery Branch, GA; sons James (Candace) Wright Jr. of Dahlonega, GA and Travis (Veronica) Wright of Cumming, GA. Grandchildren Shelby (Patrick) Wade of Cleveland, GA, Zach Crace of Flowery Branch, GA, Alexandra (Jacob) Nash of Wentzville, MO, Kylie Martin of Gainesville, GA, James Wright III and Virginia Wright of Dahlonega, GA, Sean and John Wright of Cumming, GA; great grand daughter Cora Jaymes Wade of Cleveland, GA; brothers Joe (Linda) Martin of Fayetteville, GA and Ricky Martin of Riverdale, GA. She also has numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Fran Wright will ne Thursday September 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Weldy officiating, Fran will be laid to rest beside her husband in the New Hope Cemetery in Morganton, Ga. following the service. The following gentlemen are honored to serve as pallbearers; Dennis Martin, Chris Martin, Bobby Wright, Brian Wright, Tim Wright, Jacob Nash, Patrick Wade and Sean Wright Visitation will be Wednesday September 11, 2023 from 3PM until 8 PM
