Frances J Frederick

Frances Jane Frederick, age 96, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on November 11, 2024. Known for her bright smile, vivid colored clothing, being wonderfully blessed and having a deep love for Jesus, she brought joy to all who knew her. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Wilson, her three children, Gayle Beaton, Beverly Warth and Norman Frederick, ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of faith and love for Jesus Christ.
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, Fran lived an incredibly full life filled with long term friends and family. She married Norman C. Frederick when she was 19 and loved her life as wife to him and mother to their 3 children. While Norm was in the army, they moved around the country, but returned to St. Petersburg once he was out of the service. Together they raised their kids to know and serve Jesus Christ and that legacy has continued through their children, grand children and great-grandchildren.
Fran was known for the smile on her face and the bright colors she would wear. She took every opportunity to respond that she was "wonderfully blessed" and made sure to let people know that anything good about her was because of Jesus Christ in her. She was bold in her faith and full of love for the people in her life.
Being widowed after 68 years of marriage was very difficult for Fran, but she was a strong woman who adapted well. She continued to live on her own until she was in her 90s. On Monday, November 11th, 2024, she passed away peacefully in her bed, and is now at home in the presence of Jesus. She will be missed more than words can say, but her legacy lives on through the lives she has touched these past 96 years.
Frances will be laid to rest with her husband, Norm in Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL
