Frances "Judy" Gesser

Frances "Judy" Patricia Gesser, 79, of Stallings, North Carolina, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Henry and Alice Cuffley.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband and life's great love, Norman, who passed away in 2017. Throughout her life, she lived in both Abingdon, Virginia, and Baltimore, Maryland, and spent many cherished summers with her family on Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.

A devoted homemaker, Judy filled her home with warmth, laughter, and traditions her family will forever treasure. She loved playing tennis, spending time with her dogs, and gathering around the table for cards and board games. Judy was joyful, social, and always ready for a party-especially if it meant dressing up. She delighted in baking holiday cookies for her grandchildren and had a special fondness for yellow roses. When she passed, her loyal dog Harry was faithfully by her side.

Judy is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael Gesser and Damara Danko, and Tonya and Steve Van Wynesburg; and her dear friend and neighbor, Barb, who held a special place in her heart.
