Frances Harp Obituary
Ruth was born on October 4th, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas.
Ruth was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Thomas and her second husband John Harp.
Ruth is survived by three sons, Richard Thomas, Clyde Thomas, and Daniel Thomas.
Ruth grew up with little means but did well for herself by working for the United States Post Office where she retired after 37 years. Ruth also became a firefighter and EMT.
Ruth (she did not like the name Frances) loved animals and always had cats, dogs, and horses. Ruth worked for Ted Bridges at his stables and learned how to train and show horses. Ruth went on to run her own horse stable and trained and showed many horses over the years.
Ruth was loved by many and she will be missed.
