Frances Hart, of Batson, TX, a beloved figure in her family and community, passed away on February 27, 2025, in Liberty, Texas, at the age of 87. Born on October 7, 1937, in Harleton, James County, Texas, Frances dedicated many years of her life to education, imparting knowledge and wisdom to those around her.
Frances was known for her deep faith and devotion to her family. She was a Godly woman, constantly praying for her loved ones and providing unwavering support. Her strength and love served as the glue that held her family together. She lived her life with a commitment to God and her church, demonstrating her heartfelt devotion through actions and words.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Hart; her daughter, Karen Hart Roeling; daughter-in-law, Stacy Hart; son-in-law, William Roeling; grandchildren, Victoria Atkinson and her husband Daniel, Billy Odell Roeling II, Cody Odell Roeling, and Aaron Hart; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Ellena, Emma, and Everly. Each of them carries with them memories of Frances's love, guidance, and the values she instilled. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Eunice Townlin; husband, Jeff Hart; son, Keith Hart; brother, Donald Townlin; and sisters, Maxine Moore, Carolyn Ferguson and Colleen Hendricks. Though they are no longer with her, their lives and legacies remain integral parts of Frances’s story.
A visitation will be held on March 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location with Pastor Tolbert Hudspeth officiating. Following the service, Frances will be laid to rest at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, Texas, at 3:00 PM.
Honoring Frances as pallbearers are Billy Odell Roeling II, Cody Odell Roeling, Daniel Atkinson, Bubba Moore, Travis Moore, and Jeff Hart. Honorary Pallbearers are Aaron Hart and William Odell Roeling.
Frances Hart will be remembered for the deep love and compassion she shared with everyone who is fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and an enduring spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
