Frances "Frankie" Hermes, aged 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. Frankie was a beacon of joy and love to all who knew her, embodying the true essence of family and friendship.
Born on August 13, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leb and Margaret (Clemons) Case, Frankie filled her life with warmth and kindness. She was an adoring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, touched with a contagious laugh that could brighten the darkest day. Her talents were many, and she found joy in crocheting beautiful pieces, cooking delightful meals that brought her family and neighbors together, and, of course, spending precious moments with her beloved fur-baby, Tulip.
Frankie now joins her late mother, Margaret M. Case, father, Leb Case, and brother, William Case, in eternal rest. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving brother, James (Bridget) Case, and her cherished sisters, Betty (Ken) Bullivant and Melinda Thomas. She will also be missed deeply by numerous nieces, nephews, and an extended family and circle of friends who will hold her memory dear to their hearts forever.
A visitation to honor Frankie will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Frankie’s memory to the Kentucky Humane Society, a cause dear to her heart.
