Frances Leigh Treadway Hilton passed peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2023 at her home in Charlotte, NC. She was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven at the age of 89.
Frances was born on August 26, 1933 in Polkton, NC to the late Henry M. Treadway and Lula Hunt Treadway. She, along with her twin brother, were the youngest of 9 children.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and longtime husband, William "Bill" Jennings Hilton Jr, her adoring son, Robin Lee Hilton, her parents and her 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her grandson, Jacob and his wife, Jennifer Hilton, her great grandson, William "Cameron" Hilton and great granddaughters, Tessa Jennings and Presley Jade Hilton, as well as her beloved niece, Barbara Jane Casey.
After retiring from the City of Charlotte as a Receptionist in the Traffic Division, Frances spent her time taking care of her family, traveling, spending time with friends and studying God's Word.
Lovingly referred to as "MawMaw", her greatest earthly treasures were her grandson and his family who will celebrate her life at a Graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 3pm.
