Eva "Frances" (Kendrick) Hosmer, a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, just 4 days after her 85th birthday.
Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She spent a lot of her time cooking and baking for her family and friends. She loved travelling and going on trips with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide play football Roll Tide!
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, T.P. and Addie Kendrick; brothers, Phillip Kendrick, Jack Kendrick and William Kendrick; and sisters, Martha Self and Nancy Self.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Glen D. Hosmer; one daughter, Jeri Parsons (Bob); and two grandchildren, Katie Lippincott (Trevor) and Holly Carter (Doug); along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL. There will be a time of visitation before the service beginning at 12PM, followed by the service at 12:30PM. Interment will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL, at 2PM.

Thinking of and praying for all of the family in this difficult time. Frances was always a very kind and considerate aunt. I know she is now at peace with the Lord.
