Frances King Johnson

Frances Marie King Johnson, 94, of East Ridge, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Chattanooga, TN, and was a resident of East Ridge, TN. She was of Baptist faith and Central High School graduate. She worked for the McMann Law office and volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee King, Jr. and Lillie Mae King; her husband of 58 years, Sidney Johnson; her sister, Mary Reed Estes; nephew, Jon King; and a niece, Pam Reed.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Johnny) Cash of Rossville; son, Steve (Crystal) Johnson of Madisonville, TN; six grandchildren, Craig (Shelly) Cash, Brandon, Brandie, Matthew (April), Tyler, and Luke Johnson; five great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Hannah, Matthew, Jr., and Kolbie Johnson, and Laila Little; her brothers, Robert L. (Barbara) King, III, and James (Ann) King; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank: Adoration Hospice, Dr. Robert Drake, Sara Snyder and Sonya, who has taken great care of her for many years; also, Michelle and cousin, Teresa for helping during this sad time.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the South Crest Chapel with Max Holden officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
