When the children were older she found employment outside the house in a variety of fields. She was a cosmetologist and she was the smart, capable one others sought to solve problems if they arose; she became a cosmetology instructor and taught others to do the work; she was an armed security guard and a bookkeeper for a commercial business. And through it all she was, Mom. Always loving and loyal to her children and her husband from whom she was never separated except by death.
She died peacefully in her sleep Friday morning, July 18 and joined the family that was waiting for her
