Frances M. Lamb

Frances M. Lamb, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Born on April 24, 1931 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Gerencser) Holetz.

Frances was proud to have spent many years working at Holtz & Company Factory. Frances was a talented sewer; she made both of her children many outfits throughout their childhood. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and her devotion as a caretaker. She had a unique ability to nurture those around her, always ensuring that her family and friends felt cared for and cherished. An orderly home was her haven, and she took great joy in maintaining a clean and welcoming space for her loved ones.

Frances was a member of Holy Ghost Church and the Lehigh Southside Booster Club. She loved animals and had a special appreciation for Polka music. In her earlier years, she was also a member of a bowling league, where she enjoyed the camaraderie of her fellow bowlers.

Frances is survived by her beloved daughter, Fran Lamb and her partner, Diann; son, Michael Lamb and his wife, Marian; two grandchildren, Kim Cruz and her husband, Antonio and Sean Lamb and his wife Lara; and two great-grandchildren, Jillian and Kendra.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Raymond Lamb; infant child, Harry Lamb; grandson, Cory Lamb; and sister, Mary Shambora.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
