Vickie passed away at age 78 on Tuesday, January 13th, at Etowah Health & Rehabilitation in Etowah, Tennessee.

Vickie was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Alvin Hornberger and Frances Weatherby. Vickie was a graduate of Cohn High School, Class of 1965. Vickie was married for 24 years to Larry Foriest, and they had two children: Larry Wayne Foriest II and Kellie Diann Foriest.

Vickie enjoyed many hobbies including painting ceramics, scrapbooking, various arts & crafts, and bowling.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents Alvin Hornberger and Frances Weatherby; and brother-in-law, Vernon Hullett.

Vickie is survived by her children Larry W. “Wayne” Foriest II and Kellie Diann Foriest (Robbie Paris), her three grandchildren Olivia Paris, Charles Thomas “Bubba” Paris, and Augustus “Gus” Paris, and her former husband Larry Foriest. Vickie was a proud grandmother “MeMe” to her three grandchildren, Liv, Bubba, and Gus. She is also survived by her sister, Diann Hullett; nephew, William Alvin “Chip” Hullett; as well as many extended family and friends.

Visitation for Vickie will be Saturday January 17th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation Center, with the service starting at 11:30. The burial will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation Center following the service.

Pallbearers will be Butch Weatherby, Brad Weatherby, Wayne Ursery, Gus Paris, Bubba Paris, and Robbie Paris. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Alvin “Chip” Hullett, Nelson “Bud” Campbell, and the men and women of The Nashville Fire Department.
